As part of the Symbiosium II exhibition at the Centre Wallonie Bruxelles, Paris

Ghosts don't disappear, they rise. Like water that fades into vapour, they cross worlds, suspended between presence and oblivion.

This sound piece is a drift, a journey on which water and breath coil, sharing the same destiny: to rise, to disappear, without ever ceasing to exist.

Worlds cross, collide and dissolve.

Inspired by the Steam Devils - columns of steam born of the friction between hot and cold - she captures the moment when matter wavers,

when water becomes air, haunting the space like these presences that drift, persist without form, traces suspended between two states.
